Celebrate New Years Eve with the Magic City Hippies at the Miami Beach Bandshell

The end of the year is upon us, and if you’re still looking for something to do, throw a party like no other at the Miami Beach Music Festival.

Magic City hippies want to rock with you!

The band is currently on tour, but they will be making a special stop in SoFlo on New Year’s Eve.

The countdown to – wait, it can’t be 2023 already – Magic City Hippies wants to celebrate with you.

Robbie Hunt: “I think it’s going to be a great night. You know, a lot of our friends are from all over.”

This indie funk band first hit Coconut Grove, so the boys could really let loose.

Robbie Hunt: “We pop a bottle of champagne at every show, so it really suits it. We might have to pop some more.”

John Coughlin: “It’s going to be crazy. We’re going to be crazy. It’s going to be my best night of the year.”

This Saturday, you know, December 31st, they’re rocking the Miami Beach Bandshell.

Robbie Hunt: “Yeah, I think it’s a perfect storm. It’s probably the best place we can play.”

But the 411 is, those Magic City hippies miss them some 305s.

Robbie Hunt: “We haven’t played in Miami in years, so it was incredible to play on New Year’s Eve. It was like a great homecoming, playing on the beach at Bandshell was disgusting.”

On this show, forget all the New Year’s fuss – it’s all about the fun!

John Coughlin: “We’re just trying to provide a party. There will be music. We’ll be on stage. At midnight, we’ll have a countdown or something.”

Patr Howard: “There’s no velvet rope feeling. We’re just going to play some funk music for people to party and dance and hang out.”
