Forecasters are monitoring a system in the Atlantic that is expected to quickly move west toward warmer waters into early next week, the National Hurricane Center said Friday.

Though the system has low odds of developing and is creating little rainfall as of 8 p.m., satellite data found it has maximum sustained winds near 40 mph, the center’s weather outlook said. It has a 20% chance of forming in the next five days.

The system located about 1,300 miles east of Bermuda will move west between 20 and 25 mph, the center said.
