Police reportedly arrest ‘suspect’ in University of Idaho killing

Moscow, Idaho police will provide an update Friday afternoon on the case of four University of Idaho students killed Nov. 13.

According to reports from both nbc news with ABC News, Pennsylvania State Police arrested a person in connection with the case. The Associated Press reported that 28-year-old Brian Christopher Coberg was arrested in connection with the homicide.

Kohberger was arrested Friday in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, according to court documents. The document indicated that Hohberger faced extradition following his arrest. The document indicated that he was arrested before any formal charges were laid.

The Moscow police department said it would begin Friday morning efforts to remove potential biohazards and other harmful material used to collect evidence from the home of the student killed in mid-November.

The home remains an active crime scene.

The four deaths were classified as homicides. Police said the four students were stabbed to death.
